The career that transforms the food system might be here
Responsible Food Careers helps people into UK food-business roles with real say over what gets bought, specified, and served, and supports them as they progress.
The decisions that shape people, planet, and animals are made by people with ordinary-looking job titles
What a supermarket stocks, what a caterer serves, what goes into a recipe, and the farm standards behind it are influenced by buyers, technical managers, and sustainability teams. Responsible Food Careers helps people who care about the food system get into those roles, and stay supported as they build careers with lasting influence.
How we help
One-to-one coaching. Personal support from people who know the industry. We help you find the roles that fit, sharpen your CV and interview skills, learn to speak the language of business, and land the offer.
Mentoring and peer network. Experienced mentors and a network of people in similar roles across the industry. Learn from others, share what works, and make more of the influence your role gives you.
Roles. A board of UK food-business roles, each rated by how much say it has over protein sourcing.
Everything is completely free for people who join the programme.
Coaching launches in January 2027. Join the waitlist now.

Who holds the role changes what a business sells
Someone will write the supplier standards and sign off the menus either way. A person who understands what those choices mean for climate, nature, health, and animal welfare can change what a whole business buys. We're building a pipeline of people dedicated to improving the food system, so progress continues even if an internal champion moves on from their role.
